 FAQs

  • Current undergraduate students entering their junior or senior year of a 4-year undergraduate institution and graduate students who are members of a D9 organization are eligible to apply.

  • We seek candidates who demonstrate leadership potential, a commitment to service, strong analytical and communication skills, and a passion for justice. We also consider GPA, but it is not the sole determining factor in our selection process.

  • Applications are accepted through our online portal. The application requires a resume, personal statement, academic transcripts, and letters of recommendation.

  • The application deadline is July 31st. We encourage you to apply early as spaces are limited.

  • After the application deadline, our selection committee will review all applications and select finalists for interviews. Final decisions will be announced by August 30th.

  • You will be paired with experienced legal professionals, including attorneys, judges, and legal scholars, who will provide guidance, support, and insights into the legal profession. Coaches will help you develop your legal skills, set career goals,and navigate challenges.

  • You will have opportunities to shadow legal professionals, attend court proceedings, participate in legal workshops and seminars, and network with leaders in the legal field.

  • In some cases, academic credit may be available through your educational institution. We encourage you to discuss this with your academic advisor.

  • Absolutely! We encourage you to explore your interests and passions within the legal field. We will work with you to customize your fellowship experience to align with your career goals.
